Lowland’s roots.
We're named for home. The Lowcountry is the low, tidal edge of South Carolina where the water meets the land, and its ports power everything we move. The name is a promise to move freight the way the tide does: steadily, on schedule, always headed somewhere.
Founder Jack Woody has been in logistics since 2017. Starting out in brokerage, he moved into container sales, managing truckers on the national level. He returned to brokerage with a full picture of how the business works from every side. Working alongside the largest names in container leasing, he saw a niche most brokerages wouldn't serve. He focused on fast, dependable repositioning backed by real relationships and straight answers. He built Lowland to fill it, run by someone who genuinely loves the industry and the equipment behind it.
